Merry Christmas! We enjoyed a wonderful weekend of celebrating Christmas with residents! The decorations were festive, the food was deliciously hearty, and it was fun to give awards and certificates to the staff and participants that have gone above and beyond. The best part of the party was to see each man open his gift of a NEW pair of shoes, pants, and a shirt. Thank you to all who gave to make these gifts and the party possible! We appreciate your support!

This Christmas we invited each resident to write out their Christmas wish/ and prayer for their loved ones and post them on our wall in the chapel. This was a reminder to each of us how blessed we are and what the holiday season is really about – thinking and loving others – the way God did when He sent His son for us. Be encouraged today and take a moment to reflect on how you can love those in your life today.

The Computer Lab is now open!!!
We are excited about our newly started Computer Lab. The lab’s purpose is to assist the men in our program with their recovery and transition. For the participants enrolled in the State of Arkansas’ Re-Entry program this will be used to give them access for the state’s access point for all their services called the “Good Grid”. We will also be using the lab to work with the residents on basic internet skills, word processing, typing and their resumes. One of our faithful partners, Goodwill offers a GED class and testing so the participants will be able to plug into the their services as well.
